More work coming soon, please come back and visit.

Kiera Coffee is a writer, prop stylist/set designer, and craft developer in New York City. She has spent more than a decade writing about design in its many forms as well as creating unique interiors and sets. She is currently at work with Todd Oldham on a book about Alexander Girard, to be published by Phaidon press.

Naturally curious about what makes visual life compelling, Kiera has published a wide variety of articles, including an investigation into how female prisoners decorate their jail cells (Nest magazine), how adult-baby fetishists outfit their nurseries (Nest magazine), where ruffled bed skirts originated (Martha Stewart Living magazine) and the history behind familiar motifs like plaid, quatrefoils, Greek keys and more (Shutterstock).

When Kiera is not doing any of the above work, she is sending odd things through the mail—largely documented on her Instagram account.
